Washington Nationals outfielder Michael A. Taylor is busy making real estate moves in Florida.

On Valentine’s Day, Taylor closed on a five-bedroom home in Boca Raton, FL, for $790,000. After buying the bigger Boca home, Taylor placed his smaller condo in nearby Coral Springs, FL, on the market for $265,000.

His new Boca home boasts five bedrooms and three bathrooms, and measures in at more than 3,500 square feet. .

The home offers plenty of privacy, at the end of a cul-de-sac on a large lakefront lot.

Recently renovated, the home has an oversized kitchen with quartzite counters, raised cabinetry, glass cooktop, and double wall oven.

Tile flooring runs throughout most of the home, and gleaming hardwood floors are featured in the formal dining room.

High ceilings give the living room an airy feeling, and a spectacular 12-foot white quartz stone wall with an electric fireplace is an eye-catching feature of the living room.

Bathrooms have been recently updated, and the bedrooms were outfitted with new carpet. There’s also a new AC unit and water heater.

Other notable amenities include a cool built-in entertainment center in the family room, surround-sound speakers, and a resurfaced pool with a custom waterfall that overlooks the lake. The water views out back are magnificent.

As for the condo Taylor is selling in Coral Springs, it’s much smaller than his newer place. However, the three-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom has been upgraded throughout and looks like an ideal starter home.

The attractive kitchen comes complete with granite countertops, as well as new cabinets and appliances, and the top-of-the-line washer and dryer are Included in the sale.

The unit is located in a gated community known as Cypress Pointe. Residents have access to a pool and gym.

Taylor, 29, broke into the big leagues with the Nationals in 2014. He’s spent the last six seasons manning the outfield for the Nats. In 2019, he dealt with a knee injury that limited his regular season playing time. He bounced back in the playoffs and was a key player in the World Series-winning squad.

On the Boca home purchase, Taylor was represented by Antony Kritharis of Illustrated Properties/Delray. The seller was represented by Aaron S. Adler. The Coral Springs condo is listed by Kritharis.
