Former NBA All-Star Richard Hamilton is playing the real estate game.

Hamilton has listed his Sea Ranch Lakes, FL, mansion for $8.9 million. Located in a guard-gated community just outside the Fort Lauderdale area, the Intracoastal estate is set on a double lot.

Outside, you’ll find 171 feet of water frontage, plus a cement dock with two lifts.

The Pennsylvania native purchased the contemporary property for $4.25 million in 2014.

Built in 2012, the modern home features quite a few custom amenities. A basketball court boasts the logos of both the UConn Huskies and the Detroit Pistons, and is emblazoned with Hamilton’s nickname, Rip. And if it’s too hot to shoot hoops outside, there’s also an indoor sport court.

Even nonsports fans will appreciate the two-story entrance to this glamorous home, which features a Chihuly chandelier above the grand staircase.

With 10,359 square feet, the eight-bedroom, 11-bath residence offers an abundance of space. The open plan flows from a formal living room with a fireplace to the dining area with a bar. The interior also features an “executive office.”

There’s another office (or sitting room) in the master suite, which also features dual baths and closets. Touches of the NBA champ can be spotted by sharp-eyed fans in the game room, as well as in the kids’ bedrooms.

On the lot of nearly an acre, the grounds include an infinity-edge pool with fountains and a hot tub. A gazebo boasts a massive glowing white glass bar.

The guesthouse offers a theater, game room, gym, practice court, and guest suite.

Hamilton, 42, who is now retired, played 14 seasons in the NBA. After starring in college at UConn, he was drafted by the Washington Wizards in 1999. He moved over to the Detroit Pistons, where he spent nine seasons and was a key member of the team that won the 2004 NBA championship.

Gilles Rais of Coldwell Banker Realty-Fort Lauderdale Las Olas holds the listing.
