Jon Bon Jovi was once “livin’ on a prayer.” Nowadays, he’s living in some pretty sweet real estate.

The rock star recently sold an oceanfront home he renovated in Palm Beach, FL, for almost $20 million.

That was just a prelude to the chart-topping rocker’s other deal. He reportedly also bought a home a couple of miles down the road for $43 million on the same day, according to the Real Deal.

Let’s take a tour of his rockin’ real estate…

Apparently, the legendary rocker also likes to flip houses in his spare time. Bon Jovi purchased a Palm Beach home back in 2018 for $10 million. He then razed the existing structure and rebuilt a sparkling new retreat.

The brand-new contemporary features five bedrooms, five full bathrooms, and three half-bathrooms within a little over 5,000 square feet of living space.

Highlights of the harmonious home include Atlantic Ocean views from all major rooms, oak and limestone flooring, and cypress ceilings.

The layout includes a gourmet eat-in chef’s kitchen with custom cabinetry, a master suite with water views, a library with built-ins, and a circular drive with a two-car garage.

The property occupies a third of an acre, and its outdoor spaces can handle a crowd, with a pool, loggia, and landscaped grounds. It offers direct beach access and includes an elevator.

The new mansion came onto the market in May, with a list price of $22.9 million, and sold in just two months—albeit at a slight discount. The deal closed in mid-July at a sale price of $19,847,000.

Palm Beach purchase

But Bon Jovi didn’t stray far from that success. His latest Palm Beach property purchase is located just down the street from his oceanfront flip.

The mansion he splurged on arrived on the market in January, for $44.9 million. He managed to seal the deal in mid-July, at the slightly discounted price of $43 million.

The 10,232-square-foot mansion features seven bedrooms, seven bathrooms, and five powder rooms. It was built in 2007, and its interior details include coffered ceilings, hardwood and marble floors, and intricate millwork.

In addition, the property boasts a large living room, formal dining room with ocean views, and a casual dining area.

There are also an exercise room, temperature-controlled wine cellar, elevators, generator, and three-car, air-conditioned garage.

Outside, the oversize lot includes two oceanfront loggias, a courtyard pool, and cabana, as well as covered dining and lounging space. Right along the coveted beach, the estate boasts fabulous Atlantic Ocean views.

New Jersey mansion still for sale

The Jersey boy is still looking to let go of his posh property in Middletown, NJ, which he first listed in 2017.

It’s set between the Atlantic Ocean and the Navesink River and known as High Point Estate. The palatial digs are located about an hour outside New York City.

The custom chateau was built in 1999, by the star architect Robert A.M. Stern. It’s a massive, 18,000-square-foot, French-inspired estate set on some 15 landscaped acres.

The layout contains six bedrooms, seven full bathrooms, and many sumptuous living spaces.

These include a 50-foot-long living room, a state-of-the-art kitchen, river view bar, home theater, and a dining room that seats 18. The family room features a fireplace and views of the river.

The second floor includes two wings of bedrooms. An elevator serves the basement and goes up to the top floor.

Outbuildings include a carriage house, music studio, bar, and recreation building.  A heated pool is outside, with two cabanas and a separate kitchen. The estate also comes with 750 feet of river frontage, plus a dock with a boatlift.

Christie’s International Real Estate represents the New Jersey property, which is listed as “price upon request.”

Christian Angle represented Bon Jovi in the sale of the $20 million Palm Beach mansion. Chris Leavitt, Kim Spears, and Ashley McIntosh of Douglas Elliman represented the buyer. All the agents declined to comment on the transaction. Angle also represented both sides of the $43 million Palm Beach home sale.
