Minnesota Vikings tight end Kyle Rudolph hopes to snag a buyer for his Wayzata, MN, home. He’s asking $3,395,000 for the roomy five-bedroom mansion, which has 8,052 square feet of living space.

The Pro Bowler purchased the place in September 2014 for $2.9 million, shortly after signing a five-year, $36.5 million contract extension with the Vikes.

The home was built in 2008, and its open layout features light-filled rooms, a four-season porch with a vaulted ceiling, and views of the natural surroundings. For a sports fan, the spacious place comes with plenty of perks.

The gourmet kitchen includes a counter with bar seating, a casual dining area, and looks out to the living room. There’s also a formal dining room with a fireplace.

Upstairs, the master suite features a sitting room with a fireplace, as well as a spalike bath. That floor also has three additional bedroom suites, as well as two laundry rooms and a workout room.

The home’s lower level is the fun zone, designed for entertaining large groups. For starters, there’s a movie theater with tiered seating, plus a wine cellar. A recreation area features a fireplace, media center, area for billiards, and a wet bar.

The massive man cave, which is decorated with sports memorabilia at the moment, would be a perfect place to enjoy an NFL Sunday. Folding glass doors open to the outside, seamlessly bringing the party outdoors.

Set on 3.73 acres, the picturesque property also boasts a pool, patio, grassy yard, outdoor fireplace, and bar.

The location is close to walking trails and about a 20-minute drive to U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, where the Vikings play home games.

Rudolph, 30, was drafted by the Vikings in 2011, and has spent his entire nine-season NFL career with the team. In 2019, he signed a four-year contract extension worth $36 million, which could make him a Viking for life.

Jeffrey Dewing with Coldwell Banker Realty-Wayzata holds the listing.
