Gina Rodriguez, star of “Jane the Virgin,” just splashed out $2.42 million on a lovely Tudor home in Los Angeles, CA. It’s nearly as cute as Rodriguez herself.
The brick-and-stone home was a sought-after property. According to the Los Angeles Times, the home had an offer on the table just days after it was listed and purchased through a trust by Rodriguez.
Built in 1951, the home sits on a large lot for the neighborhood—more than a quarter-acre—and includes four bedrooms, three bathrooms, and 3,150 square feet of space. From the curb, there’s a fairy-tale quality to the residence, thanks to the stone front and manicured green lawn.
Inside, the home has vaulted ceilings, hardwood floors, and a grand staircase. There’s plenty of room, both inside and out, for entertaining a crowd. The large, airy kitchen is the perfect spot for lingering before dinner, and the indoor-outdoor living area leads seamlessly to the home’s lush, private backyard, with a Roman lap pool, spa, large lawn, and gazebo.
Located in the Westchester neighborhood, it’s a coveted spot near LAX airport, shopping, dining, and Playa del Rey beach.
Rodriguez has had a busy few months. In May, she married Joe LoCicero, whom she met when he guest-starred as a stripper on “Jane” in 2016. She posted this sweet video of her wedding day.
Rodriguez is also busy on the professional front, with her ongoing starring role in “Carmen Sandiego” and the upcoming series “Diary of a Female President,” which will debut when the Disney+ streaming service launches on Nov. 12. She’s also working on a new installment of the animated “Scooby Doo” movie series, for which she will voice Thelma, the brains behind the Mystery Machine.
A new husband, a blossoming Hollywood career, and now a new home—Gina has it all going on.
