Reality TV star June Shannon—known by fans as “Mama June”—has listed her her home in Hampton, GA, for $225,000.
TMZ reported that the home was in a bad way just a few short weeks ago. In June, Shannon’s troubled boyfriend, Geno Doak, drove his SUV into the home while intoxicated. An August home video Shannon and Doak filmed during a yard sale showed the home in total disarray.
But today, the home—owned by Honey Boo Boo LLC—is completely remodeled and in pristine condition, throughout its five bedrooms, three bathrooms, and more than 3,200 square feet. To borrow another popular reality TV trope, this home has had an extreme makeover.
The floors shine, the paint is neutral and brand-new, and the bedrooms boast new carpeting. Basically, there’s zero sign of the troubled star of “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo” and “Mama June: From Not to Hot.” Which is great for a home buyer who wants a blank slate with little evidence of the home’s sordid history.

June and Geno are selling off all their possessions and plan to buy an RV and travel the country, according to TMZ. But the couple might not be able to roam too far. In September, the pair was charged with a felony for drug possession in Alabama, after they were caught by police with crack cocaine. Mama June is required to stay in Alabama until after the trial and could face years in jail, according to People.
Just two days before her arrest, June’s famous family, including her daughters Lauryn “Pumpkin” Shannon and Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson, staged an intervention and convinced her to enter rehab. But she checked herself out just 12 hours later, People reported. Alana is currently living with her sister and has told her mom she’s not coming home until she ditches Geno and cleans up her act.
For now, it’s June’s lovely home that’s cleaned up and ready for new owners after a miraculous transformation. We hope it’s a sign of things to come for June, Alana, and the whole family.
